Beautiful afternoon with amazing wine, delicious food arancini is a must try! and great service! Will definitely be coming back with all my friends and family!
AVOID THE POOR SERVICE !!! We came in today 2:50pm the 4th March 2023 we where served by a lovely lady with blond hair that could not do more to serve us however the owner/Wine maker was the rudest person i have ever met. He kept putting the female staff member down for not putting the cork back in the bottle straight away he then disappeared out the back. Meanwhile we carried on tasting I might add that is cost $5 for a tasting however if you buy food or a bottle they wave it it was our intention to buy a bottle we asked to sample the Moscato the next thing we hear the owner degrade the female staff member that was serving us for not putting the cork straight back on the bottle. we politely asked if we could buy a bottle and the staff member proceeded to find a bottle however the owner once again came and in a toned voice said to the staff member that she won’t find it as there is not any for sale and they sold out the staff member then proceeded to tell the owner that she opened one for a tasting in Wich the owner flipped his lid in front of us for opening the bottle that supposedly was the last one that he was saving for some reason. I could not believe my eyes when he produced a second open bottle and proceeded to top up the newly opened bottle. I HOPE YOU THE OWNER READS THIS PART. not only as a customer would I have offered to buy the said opened bottle as it was opened for me to taste it was only when you snatched it from your staff member and where so rude about her opening it for us that in my head I decided not to offer to purchase the bottle it was then I decided to walk out and I paid my $5 for the tasting wich judging by your service was ludicrous. If you had been better at not loosing your temper at staff in front of customers and lost the rude attitude we would have possibly Brought a couple of bottles from you however because of your rudeness towards your staff you have not only missed a sale but we will never come back ever so you have also lost a customer. you may say oh well that’s only one customer however this is one customer that will tell others to avoid your winery and will continue to post reviews once this one is deleted by you.
We visit most weekends and you can not fault the boutique experience and the food and wine is beyond exceptional. Michele is traditional passionate Italian and a real character and great to chat to , so knowledgeable. Also Luna is part of the atmosphere. and miss her.
Beautiful wines, olive oil and try the ports! Very knowledgeable owner who has plenty of time to explain each item and a taste. Price for the beautiful wine is around the same as an average bottle in a bottle shop but 100% better!
Such a disappointment. Rude service from the beginning and then we were proceeded to be lectured about anti vax sentiments. I came to have a lovely day out in the Swan. We came to try new wineries but won’t ever be returning to this one!
Good food , good wine , nice place to relax The owner is a nice guy , maybe people should try talking and saying hello to him . The ladies also did a great job serving food and drinks .
My wife and I attended, with another couple on Easter Sunday. We had an antipasta platter for four. It was OK. I would have given it a 7/10. During the meal a couple of dogs of the owner nearly as big as small ponies sat near, or under our table nudging us with their noses or paws for titbits from our meal. When we left my wife bought some bottles of white wine. I was going to purchase some red wine but when I changed my mind because of the difference in prices, the owner was quite rude to me. Advice to him .... If you have such a delicate ego you should try to control it, if you expect customers to return. I wont.
This winery receives no stars and I have visited this winery twice. Wine tasting, lucky to receive a drop. Wine average and cheese platter you would fair better at your local store. Service is appalling. The owner is sexist and ageist. A dismal experience.
Just would like to say to people who rated this wine very poorly..you have no idea what good wine is... And the owner the most hospitality I 've seen..the nicest owner who really cares about his business. So whoever f....s put those bad reviews..think twice..before you hurt someone. I have been to this winery once..The wine I have tasted awesome!!!ordered twice. Michele offered free delivery..all my friends once tasted ordering as well..I am very particular about my wine..wont drink cheap rabbish!! Strongly recommend..wine especially Rosso D'Amore.you won't find it in any shop..only from Mickele.
