This is my go-to place to get a copy of Monocle magazine! :D They've got an excellent range of other magazines too - but it's not as big as I would normally have expected from a typical Mag Nation. But they will definitely be able to get hold of anything you're looking for.
If you can't find a magazine anywhere else, you'll probably be able to find it here. The best selection of magazines in Sydney! Lots of airfreight titles too. The staff are helpful and you can even subscribe through the shop to make sure you never miss an issue of your favourite magazine :

Go to the bathroom first, because you might want to stay a while. Buy a coffee, and check out the collection upstairs. There is plenty of seating. If you can't see what you want on the shelves, ask the staff, it could be that it is inbetween issues.
