Wow. Hats off to the staff at IGA Castlemaine. I had such a good experience getting served there. I bought a marinated chicken sandwich and a beetle burger and fries. This was BY FAR the best meal I've had in yonks. It was all thanks to Radij who served me the grub.nRadij at IGA Castlemaine deserves a gold star for making my taste buds do the happy dance. The marinated chicken sandwich was so good, I contemplated proposing to it. And the beetle burger? Let's just say I've found a new appreciation for insects in my diet. The fries were perfectly crispy, each one a tiny potato champion. If IGA Castlemaine had a VIP lounge, I'd be booking a permanent spot. Radij, you've set the bar so high, I might need a trampoline to reach it again. Bravo!

It's always a pleasure to shop here for me personally I find the products that I need as they are where you expect to find them as this super market has continued to operate 'if it's working well enough all that is needed is good ongoing maintenance '.nBeing a smaller supermarket is part of its appeal to me personally also, staff get to know you are always friendly and usually quick to respond to the build up of customers lining up to checkout in my experiences anyway.nProduce is usually of above average quality and affordable, deli has a good array of quality cuts with Hot food which is convenient at time's. I would not hesitate to advise it as a good place to shop.
