The ice is better than most other rinks, very busy so avoid peak times. For practice, recommend figure sessions rather than public/mega skate
Great fun for the family! Ice gets a little cold tho so make sure to wrap up warm . My son and his friend had a great time learning to skate. Though I wasn’t too great at it
Quality of the ice is good, staff are good however the queue to enter is extremely poorly managed. On busy nights, it has taken 20 minutes just to reach the ticket window. Staff seem oblivious to patrons losing a large chunk of the paid session time wasted lining up in the queue. They have two ticket windows and other staff just sitting around. Both ticket windows with two Eftpos machines and a less chit-chat with patrons should be used when more than 10 people are in the queue. This is really basic common sense, and I see this aspect poorly handled every time I go there, which is at least once a week. They really need to manage the entrance queue much better.
Really good experience overall.nCheap tickets during certain times of the school holidays, and coming early guarantees less people and fresh ice.nGet a penguin stamp to be able to get out and then back in so you can skate, go out to eat, then come back!. Staff were nice.
Fun and exciting atmosphere when Disco happens. However, it was very crowded as it was the school holiday season. The line is also long, we waited around 30minutes and that was not during peak hour! Great location within Macquarie shopping centre and food courts looking down on them. Good price and lots of skates with different sizes to hire. Lots of fun as a first-timer!!
