I would not go back to Macs as every time I go there, they find something new that is "urgently needed" to be fix in my car, despite it runs well. Last time the gave me a quote for over $1000 to a fix a noise on my wheels. They wanted me to replace the whole brakes system. Luckily I went to another workshop for a second opinion and they fix that noise for $70. The problem was just little rocks in the wheels that were making that random metallic noise, but Macs Autoclinic wanted to charge over $1000 for that. Also, I went there for a wheel alignment but my wheels weren't aligned after that. I had to go back wasting my time and still my wheels aren't aligned. In my personal opinion I would not recommend it to a friend.

Check vehicles according to what’s written in the Virm, I just inspected a vehicle with your recent issued wof (61 kms since inspected) can’t believe you passed it with totally stuffed front lower control arm bushes. Are vehicles getting inspected properly at your premises??? This kind of practice puts people’s lives at risk, shocking behaviour. Inspector ms number 2516

Bled brakes with seconhand fluid scidded vehicle with a brand new battery inthe back with lpg bottles and 40 litres of petrol said it was fixed brakes failed within 4 hours pedal went to the floor then front brakes seized on two dsys later
