It’s our first time came to this Mall. The restaurant area is awesome!! Lots of choice! We tried Hansan Vietnamese restaurant, definitely will try others next time.
Aotearoa, New Zealand's oldest mall and my absolute fave mall of them all. Straight off the train, it has everything you need from cinema, supermarket, food court, clothing, music, you name it, it has it. The noticeable difference about this mall is the friendliness and ease of the workers here not to mention the laid back enviroment, it has an air of community unlike some of the other more uptight malls further towards the city centre. Highly recommended
The original mall of New Zealand. Has now got a relatively upmarket dining precinct and watch this mall evolve! New Lynn is slowly modernising and developing and this mall will follow along for sure.
Lynmall is my nearest mall, so I go there more frequently. It has some of almost everything, but is a bit small inside these days. I hope the food court might get some new food shops one day, including a coffee outlet. It would be nice to sit and eat, while enjoying a coffee with my meal. There are 3 or more cafes inside the mall.
Mall was full of Christmas Spirit. Decorations everywhere. Clean tidy food court. Recommend this mall to anyone coming to West Auckland, it is the best
This mall has really improved over the years. It’s actually a lot better than some of the brand new malls. The brands are good. The layout is nice and easy and the stores are decent size. I really like the interiors and exteriors of this place. The outside area just by the cinema is lovely and has some little restaurants with outdoor seating. I wish they could open till 7 pm on weekdays just like Sylvia park.
LynnMall has everything from Barbershop, AA Centre, Laundry, food court, Countdown etc. Your one stop weekend spot. Plenty of parking spaces. Wheelchair friendly.
MALL Security especially that middle aged white man is very rude!!! He assumes just cuz I look foreign I don’t speak English. I asked him nicely where is this specific store but I couldn’t catch what he was saying cuz the mall was noisy so I asked him to repeat again and then he tried to say it really slowly with a loud tone of voice “THEY ARE CLOSED FOR THE DAY BECAUSE OF FLOODING!! DID. YOU HEAR. THE. WORD. FLOOD. Do. YOU. Understand. WHAT. I’m. Saying”. I was just shaken by the way I was treated after so many things that has happened to me on that day and walked away. I then decided to go and find it myself and I did manage to find that store - turns out they were still open!!! They were closed for a short while but reopened soon after. And I got exactly what I needed. At least the store lady was nice and helpful! So I was lied to technically. Lack of communication skills between one another security guards - I wonder why were they hired if they cannot communicate information properly, let alone communicate nicely with someone that’s not the same ethnicity group as them. If I didn’t speak any/less English, I’m pretty sure this Pakeha security guard would’ve humiliated me even more! At least everyone else working in the mall was nice!
Maybe not the most beautiful but still a great purposeful mall with pretty everything you might need, including an AA Auto centre and a huge supermarket.
A Westfield group Mall with the flair of a larger mall. Has it's own customer level market comparable to top workd class in Auckland.
