After months of trying to grow out serious bleach damage next level breakage, hair loss etc. I found prior hairdressers were no help at all - up-selling useless products and futile treatments. I booked in with Maria today, feeling extremely self-conscious and unhappy with how I look. She was *so* gentle, kind and supportive – beyond what I expect from a hairdresser! – and made me feel a lot better about my hair situation. After a K18 treatment, a strategic cut to hide some of the breakage, and ample advice on how to not only treat my hair at home, but cope emotionally with the slow grow-out of extreme chemical damage I left actually feeling ok about myself. Maria is a wonderful hairdresser and human, the salon itself makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I've found my new hairdresser. Thank you Maria EllieServices: Hair regrowth
Really thought that this would be my forever salon, but.... The last time I was booked in for the works; foils, toner, wash, cut, style etc. On the morning of my appointment I received a call that my appointment would be cancelled due to the stylist not being able to come into work. Shortly after I was notified that I could come for my appt if I could basically drop everything and go right then. The appointment was great, even though the calming spiritual intro was skipped. The works usually takes 6 hours or more. During the appointment I was told the stylist only had 3 hours and it wasn't until my hair was being blow dried that I realised I would not be receiving a hair cut. Initially I was thrilled with the result as it looked great, but in the following days I realised my hair felt fried and was breaking off and falling out at a considerably advanced rate. Dismay and disappointment as I scavenger the city for a new salon.

My first time at Lyla Care today and I had the most wonderful experience. This wasn’t my usual trim and treatment, it came with so much relation, delicious tea, soothing head massages and of course, I’m obsessed with my hair.
