Having visited Lune I can understand why social media rated them highly, their pastries are incredible! The almond croissant and the 'turtle' chocolate pastry were flavoursome and flakey, definitely worth paying that bit extra for a quality product, especially as a tourist. Their hot chocolate complemented the pastries well, ready to drink immediately once served. Our order arrived in a timely manner given how busy Lune is. The cafe was busy on the day we went, with a queue out the front door. There is some seating available inside. I would recommend visiting Lune for high quality pastries.
We arrived around past 10am on a Sunday morning. True enough, line is building up, but it was fast. 10-15mins before you reach the counter.nnCroissant and other pastries were awesome. Coffee maybe not suited to our taste. Though we love coffee, it was a so-so for us. Both filtered coffee and the white coffee iced. My wife and I just took a sip, then we didnt finished both.nnThough we love the environment, fast paced and quick breakfast.
A famous croissant shop in Australia — today I finally got to try the Melbourne branch! Luckily, the queue wasn’t too long. The croissants were delicious and lived up to their reputation — perfectly crisp and flaky. If you love that crunchy texture, you’ll probably enjoy these. Personally, I think if the line were much longer, it might not feel that worth the wait, but the quality is definitely good. The prices are on the higher side, though still reasonable given the large portion size. My favorite was the original, while the almond one was also nice. I also tried the chocolate but found it just okay — the lemon one, however, was really well done!
Totally worth the hype! The title “World’s Best Croissant” from The New York Times is no exaggeration. I haven’t tried croissants in Europe yet, but among all the Asian countries I’ve been to, I’ve never had an almond croissant as good as the one at Lune.nnThe shop is always packed, with customers lining up outside. There are standing tables for a quick bite, but takeaway is the most convenient option. The packaging is sturdy and clean, and the croissant stayed perfectly crispy even after 40–50 minutes when I finally ate it at a nearby café. The staff were efficient and quick with orders — no long wait at all.nnAn absolutely satisfying highlight of my trip to Melbourne!
I finally had the chance to visit this place, and what I loved most were the coffee and the fresh, delicious pastries. There's not much else to say—it's a small, mostly takeaway spot. I wasn't actually aware of that beforehand, which was a bit of a surprise .nnThe place has a minimalist vibe, and I really appreciated how the menu was displayed on the table—very easy and thoughtful. I guess I was expecting a coffee shop with tables and chairs but overall, the coffee and pastries were fantastic. It was quite a busy spot, but that just shows how popular it is!
