Trendy, cool Tapas bar in Hawthorn. This place always has interesting dishes to try on the menu. Good sized dishes to share. Variety of wine, beer and cocktails are great. Staff are friendly and helpful and atmosphere is warm and upbeat. Good place to catch up with friends or for a romantic evening.
Update- ate here again, the pork spare ribs are a must have.

Great food. Nice location. They took the dishes away before i was done but not super pissed about that cos we ordered heaps of food. Recommend the cheese plate!

I booked a table for a family gathering and decided on Lulo because last time I was there I had a fantastic meal! This time however, it was such a disappointing experience that I spoke to a lovely lady who then explained that they have a new chef.

You can definately tell the difference, the food had no flavour at all. With Spanish and Latin cuisines, you expect the flavours to burst in your mouth with every bite. Instead, we went through 2 side ramekins of salt, pepper and spices. 

I would not recommend you go there if you are looking to sample Latin and Spanish cuisine as it's not an accurate representation. Perhaps once the new chef has settled and has a play with the menu it may improve?

Walked into Lulo by chance tonight. We have thoroughly enjoyed it. A wonderful meal, excellent service and very good wine. The tongue and the pork belly are delightful. The avo terrine was lovely. We will be back - with friends.👍👍👍

Nothing special. Kept walking past and thinking I have to go there. Went there and was just very underwhelmed. Best part of the night was going to picolinna nearby for gelato!
