Food was good, though the portions are small for what they charge. But sorry if you're going to tell me on the phone I can have the table until 8, and then rush me out the door at 7 because the next customer is waiting, don't expect me to recommend your restaurant or come back to give you business. Good idea to learn some customer service skills first.

Izakaya Jiro has been a favorite of mine when looking to eat some Japanese food. Portions aren’t bad, price is okay and overall has tasty food. I’d recommend this place if you wish to indulge on some tasty Japanese food.

Saw the great ratings so decided to go. Taste was above par, and probably worth 5 stars. However, for the price, I can get a way more fulfilling meal at another Japanese place with only a slightly lower level of deliciousness. Having gone with a friend who's been multiple times over the past 4 years, I heard the size of the servings is also becoming that of a "fine dine" portions. 4 stars overall, though I probably would look elsewhere for casual dining. Special occasion? Sure I'd go back!

A real life saver of a place if you are organising a team lunch for people who are vegetarian, meat eaters , and FODMAP/ Hare Krishna eaters. The restaurant was very kind in terms of allowing us to make a mess because it was our team Christmas lunch and we played the stealibg santa game. The meals were mostly bento boxes and offered and interesting range of selections
