My two stars are for the service - the products at Lovisa are brilliant. I purchased earrings they had a deal that was buy two for 19.99 I was at the counter purchasing and the shop assistant asked me if I would like to purchase the second one for $19.99, I said no thanks and as transaction went through I changed my mind immediately and said “Actually I will”. To my surprise the shop assistant could not give me the product as she had no idea how to place it through. I suggested refunding and the Manager of the store said we do not refund earrings... I had not even left the store! She responded with “If I do I will lose my job”. I’m sorry I find this absolutely absurd. She carried out to say we also can’t do discounts as this will be in the system and we will also be in a lot of trouble. I wasn’t happy purely because I find this extremely incompetent for a computer system not to be able to give discounts and explain why you have given the discount especially when I wanted to spend more money... I get if I changed my mind on the product and wanted my money back I would understand but I didn’t, I wanted to add more to my purchase. The Manager of the store was quite adamant about this rule even though she would have made another sale. I shop here all the time I have a major collection at home and personally this has really put a dampener on me ever shopping there again. Very disappointing!
I came in to get my ears pierced and I was lucky enough to have Darlene help me out. Everything went so smoothly and she was extremely courteous and professional. This was my first time getting a piercing and she explained everything very thoroughly and even helped me look at some earrings afterwards. It was honestly the highlight of my day and I will 100% come back and hopefully I’m lucky enough to chat with Darlene again!
Wow that was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a while. My daughter is a big fan of Lovisa and we often go to the DFO or Toowong stores and have never had a problem with customer service before. In fact everyone we have encountered over the past few years has been very pleasant- until today. The manager, “Darlene”, was inappropriate, rude and obnoxious to me and my 10yo daughter. It was a perplexing sight to behold. When we were checking out she asked if our purchases were gifts and my daughter said they were for her friend’s birthday and we asked if gift wrapping was available as we have had brilliant gift wrapping without issue before at the same store. Darlene appeared completely uninterested in providing any semblance of customer service and proceeded to scrunch it up in a piece of tissue paper without any care or tape or ribbon AND with the price tags still on which my daughter had to point out to her and then threw it in the plastic bag with an air or tantrum about it. I mean, what just happened!? I can’t believe a purported “store manager” would behave like that towards a child. Some people really shouldn’t work in retail. We won’t be going back. And giving a whole star was a stretch.
The staff are lovely, but I would suggest if getting a cartilage piercing to go to a proper piercing place. Lovisa did my second lobes fantastically, but my helix piercing was completely wrong and on an angle with the backing of the earring sitting on top of my ear not behind. I was refunded which was great. But cartilage piercings need to be done with a needle, not a device. The jewellery range is great and the girls really nice and social, I just think they lack the experience and tools to be doing cartilage piercings.
The employees were lovely but I would never recommend getting a piercing here. I got my ears pierced at this shop and it was done using unsanitary equipment. I got ear infections which had to be treated in hospital.
The Manager of this store is a Screaming Banshee. She is highly VERBALLY Rude by constantly Judging me, ALWAYS having problems of me visiting and doesn't STOP making Snarky comments towards me. She will go out of her way to bark at you and get in your face about having put purchases on the side a for a Few Hrs. I have been in contact with a lawyer and someone from head of department of how unprofessional this manager has been treating me. I have NO RESPECT for this STORE and this BARKING RUDE MANAGER. I won't be shopping from this store again cuz i don't accept WET DOG constantly BARKING at me.
Horrible experience, I bought a plug earring and I walked 2 min in the shopping Center and looking at the jewellery I realised that I might need a bigger , so I went back to try to just changed and it was not possible because, even when she saw me going out and back and not trying it on me. So make sure what you are buying otherwise no customer service after.

Got my ears pierced here cartilage and I had Jasmine to help me. She was very professional and friendly. I didn't feel a thing.
As I don't have pierced ears, a friend recommended this store to try for converters. Lovely staff member suggested I try their Indooroopilly shop, because they could convert hoops. Fabulous, friendly and helpful staff who didn't push, and spent a lot of time and effort on the $4.99 earrings I bought. Could not fault. I will now be a regular customer
