This was such a nice place to get breakfast. It felt luxe and everything had a high-end feel. The lighting, the interior design, even the kitchen staff were well presented. I loved the menu and it took me ages to decide. Everything looks so good. I wasn't disappointed with my choice though. The roast pumpkin and haloumi stack was excellent. I loved the sweetness from the onion jam. The pulled pork and potato rosti was also excellent. That crispy rosti was really the best part.
Loved our breakfasts at Lotus. Service was friendly and attentive and food is delish and good sized servings. We had the buttermilk pancakes and corn fritters - 3 times in a 5 day visit to Merewether! Yum!

A little disappointed as the cafe looks very appealing from the menu and decor. There is plenty of seating inside and out. The staff are friendly but give you the impression they aren’t there for the customers. I had the house baked beans and they were lacking in taste. The coffee though was really excellent.
This place is consistently good - a regular stop on our way from Sydney to Port Stephens or further north. It has a varied and interesting menu, with meals always of very good quality.
Really pleased to find somewhere to enjoy a coffee late in the afternoon! Very pleasant atmosphere here with a choice of seating options. Today I only had a mocha but the menu looks very tempting, so I will be back!

Great food and staff. We arrived in 5ppl, they rapidly got us a table and started to get our order. Their Turkish bread is delicious. I had their Benedict, my 2 years old devoured her bread+eggs+juice, and my wife who is not a fan of Benedict loved hers. Parking: Public parking in the area. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp.
Very nice, spacey place to dine, great service from lovely and friendly stuff, variety of many meals, good coffee, dessert was delicious!
Breakfast with the family. Great food and service. I had the roast pumpkin with eggs, hubby had eggs Benny and my son had Avo on sourdough with eggs avo with eggs I thought was a little overpriced
