Absolutely appalling. Would not recommend. Had a table of 18 - which was a reserved table so they should’ve been prepared. Took an hour and a half for our meals. Half the meals came out cold and we politely sent them back. Another table behind us walked out after waiting an hour for cold food. While waiting for the food to be recooked, the 2IC, a young blond male, came out with very aggressive body language to one of our female friends. He was saying things like, “your food was not cold, you will be paying for your food.” He was standing over her, pointing. Clearly, he had not had proper training. He was getting so worked up, he threw something down on the table, swore and walked off. The manager then came out and profusely apologised for his behaviour and offered to compensate for our meals. This man should not speak to customers is such an accusatory tone and with aggressive body language. Something like taste is subjective, however, temperature of a meal cannot be argued. Another of our friends was vomiting outside afterwards possibly from the calamari or steak. Never returning and honestly wouldn’t waste your time.
The factors that deserve the real feedback are the food and customer service, which both earn Lone Star the best rating I can give them. Amazing dinner and extremely friendly and helpful staff gave me and my friends a great night out. While those factors are what earn them 5 stars hands down, I will also say though that when I think back to the way their restaurants used to be, I was left feeling pretty disappointed in their pretty uninspired setting. This is definitely a great place to take friends and family for a fun and very satisfying night out and I will happily visit them again many times.
Service was ordinary, but the food was better than I expected, I had Salt and pepper squid for entree, and brisket for main. It was my first time at any Lone star, it wouldn't be somewhere to go for anything special but would be ideal for things such as birthday parties or work social functions. in other words better than fast food but not much really.
Food was great....so many great cheesy entrees to choose from. The only disappointing thing about our visit was the server looking after our table. From the moment we entered the establishment we where greeted with attitude and impatience form the young girl and thus continued as we ordered food and drinks. However when settling our bill we where looked after by another staff member that had just started her shift and she was cheerful and pleasant to deal with
Delicious food, great deals and awesome staff! The wings are some of the best we've had! Definitely recommend popping in for a feed!
Large range of food with assorted ribs, steaks, burgers and chicken dishes. Also some creative and delicious entrees, salads and side dishes. Very good service, and well-decorated environment.
We tried Lone Star Rib House. Service was good staff friendly. You recieve a bucket of peanuts to tied you over until your entre arrives. The meals are more than adequate. All I can say is thank goodness it wasn't my birthday, the staff brought out a birthday cake and form a line clapping loudly and sing happy birthday as they take it to your table. So if you like the attention or want to embarrass a friend on their birthday then this is the place for you. Overall we enjoyed the meal and drinks.
Absolutely delicious food. Well priced and fast service. Make sure you ask for a bucket of peanuts for your table. There is a small sign that you don't see until you walk out.
Food was okay. Service was great. Food took a bit of time to come out.
My meal was enjoyable, I had the Porterhouse steak with a 1/4 rack of pork ribs on the top, House salad, chips and Mushroom sauce. I feel that they could've served a bigger portion of the Mushroom sauce but the steak was lovely and our waiters were friendly. Everyone has different expectations & taste so im ony speaking for my experience.
