We tried the signature shoulder pork ribs and the chicken and ribs combo. The Portuguese chicken breast was perfectly cooked and that signature sweet & sticky rib glaze was surprisingly super tasty. The servings were also very generous. Service was a hit or miss depending on who was attending to our table.
Visited for dinner with the family, we ordered Sheriff's tower and it was great, the bacon cheese fries were also good. Place is well maintained, restrooms are kept clean, ambience was good, staff were polite and friendly. Overall a good family friendly place.
Father’s day lunch was bad. Ordered a Sherifs Rib Tower BbQ Ribs for 2, we had it before.. but today seems like the water from the meat flowing on the plate, from reheating in a microwave I think. The ribs doesn’t taste well seasoned. Seems they poured bbq sauce on top. I know the restaurant is busy because of the Father’s day.. they called me twice to confirm my booking..arrived earlier than I booked and the staff said we can stay only for 1.5 hour because they are jammed pack for reservations. What the heck!!! Then to my dismay our food turned out to be disappointing. The rib tower is $79 but it was meh!! The meat looks and tasted like boiled and bland. We thought they changed how they cook, so we tried to ate but We could not bare the taste and looks of it. Its not palatable and pleasing. So we stop. We ate the chips and a few left over of coleslaw. The guy teller still have me paid and gave discount, from $145 to 115$ they took the leftover. The busyness of the season is not the excuse for mishaps of the food preparations.
Service was strange. The poor staff won't make eye contact and everything takes a long time to happen. Very quiet when we arrived but as more people ordered, they all got full meals to their tables before our three plates of miniature wings were ready at least 40 min wait. We ordered drinks and it took a long time for staff to come back to tell us the kegs were out. Then we were charged for the drinks we didn't get.
I tried to contact them privately about this but despite seeing they have read my messages it has been ignored. Just want to express my disappointment over last nights meal. 3 of us came for Mother’s Day spent over $130 only to have our meals sent out half hour apart. We come here to eat together not to watch each other eat. I understand you are busy but you should hold the other meals back and serve together. The seating outside was dangerous the wooden slats are all loose and falling out and I sat on a large nail sticking straight out ruining a pair of expensive jeans and puncturing my skin with a rust nail.
I had the ribs. They were very fatty and meat was very dry. The sauce was just poured over the top to hide all of this no doubt? They did give me them for half price. Half price for eating nothing. They said I should of told someone. Well they should come round and ask people how their meals are. It was very expensive for a rubbish meal. My husband's steak was not that crash hot either. Will not be returning to pay for not nice food that you never ate. When you go out for dinner you expect to have a nice meal, better than what you can make at home, especially now with the cost of everything. Should of taken photos
After walking into another venue a few doors down and all the tables still full of dirty dishes and scraps, we came across Lonestar that looked quiet but very clean so we decided to try that out for our Family of 4. This is our first time eating at a steakhouse, the menu had a great selection for all of us, the staff were all super friendly and experienced. The food didn't take long to come after placing our order it was fresh and cooked to perfection. But the most pleasing thing was to see capable and willing employees providing quality customer service, clearing tables, asking if our meals were OK, explaining items on the menu. This type of service is very rare these days and it made our evening that more enjoyable Highly recommend taking your Family out to this restaurant, you can certainly tell the staff have received training and enjoy working there.

I mean if I could give a zero start I would. We were a family of 14 who dined here for my birthday. About 2 out of the 14 enjoyed their meals. 3 of us had burgers, tasted like the burgers were frozen patties that you get from Cole’s, no flavour and terrible texture. If you thought the food was bad the service was even worse. I mean to say it was bad is an understatement, there was no service. Looked like they hired a bunch of 15 year olds with no enthusiasm to work, no social skills and no service skills. So many mistakes in our foods and drinks from poor service. Took too long to get our drinks and was a chore to try and find someone to get us more drinks. For a family of 14 who spend well over $300 that night we were no impressed one bit. They tried to charge us extra for sides that they forgot to add, asked for extra sides and did not receive. I definitely won’t be coming back here until management and chefs change. I could make a better burger in 5 minutes at home. Chips were pretty good though
Don't waste your time or money. Go to an establishment that values customer service. A party of 7 sat at 6pm, ordered at 630pm. 5 of 7 received their meals within 15/20 minutes. At 30minutes we asked about the other two meals. The serving staff checked and stated it wouldn't be long. After 1 hour the meals still had not arrived. The other 5 people had completely finished their meal. We cancelled the remaining meals. A sorry/sppology wasn't uttered until I stated "if this is your level of service I won't bother coming back" The managers reply "we've been having lots of complaints tonight, so fair enough" In balance the food that came out was ok. The two porterhouse steaks were cooked as requested medium rare and medium. One person with an egg allergy had a reaction from the cheeseburger - which doesn't have egg. So a question remains as to how clean the kitchen utensils are. Do your self a favour and avoid. The staff don't care. 56 reviews and this is the first food establishment I've given one star.
