Perfect stop for a quick lunch. Good value, very nice open lamb burger and Avocado/mushrooms on toast. Only recently reopened, the new ownership hasn’t affected quality or the quality of the service.
Coffee is really good. Food is so so- the beef cheek breakfasts included a quarter sized piece of beef which was pretty funny. Granola bowl was ok.

Excellent revamp of a well-established Wellington locale. Lola Stays combines excellent outdoor seating, great interior design and a menu that truly stands out from the crowd. With a strong wine list and very, very appealing array of cocktails, you can whittle away the afternoon in the sun without any issue. The menu is the masterpiece though with beautifully simple food that will challenge the average diner to enjoy a little more. Have the poké Hawaiian-style raw tuna or the Panzanella crouton salad. The special desert, the gold digger, with honey, thick chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream was superb. Go here and plan to spend a few hours - the food will be worth the visit, the wine in the sun will justify the stay.
