Love the playfulness of this bar where you text to gain entry. When the bartender opened the door, I felt as if I was visiting a friend. The speakeasy vibe, the lighting, the seating are all spot on. Importantly, the cocktails are amazing and the bartender knew his stuff. The service is amazing, can't fault it at all.
The place is nice and the staff really friendly. We enjoyed some cocktails, the Bar tender asked us for our favorites spirits and flavors. They don’t have a cocktail menu but the have some specials. The bar is located in Burleigh area, it’s a good neighborhood. Many bars, restaurants and shops around the area. They don’t accept bookings, at the beginning was difficult to find the bar because it’s located behind Gold Coast Hwy, in the lane way behind Laneway. Good place to enjoy very good cocktails.
Always love Lockwood for the drinks and great banter. Met the owner and wow, what a stud. Highly recommend.

Best hidden bar in Burleigh - don't be put off by having to wander down the backstreet, it's worth it. Staff were friendly & knowledgeable and made great cocktails. The ambience is perfect and a welcome escape from Burleigh Pavilion down the road. Perfect for lovers of Whiskey, Gin and cocktails. My favourite part... having to send a text message for entry. Cool touch!

This is the best bar on the Gold Coast. Okay okay I don’t know that. I haven’t been to every bar but as someone who is in hospitality, it is run by the best people and every bartender is some of the most experienced and well versed bartenders I have ever seen in my life and this is all just about the drinks the food is such an incredible and culturally different thing to have in Burleigh heads I think the area wouldn’t be the same without it. I can only hope that this bar thrives and pushes on, and the people stay right where they are! I can’t wait to come back and see them do there thing, it’s gonna make my day just like it did the first time I showed up and had a drink. Ever the best, and see you soon Lockwood!
Glad we found it. What a great place. I love speakeasy type places and this one is worth looking for. Lovely spot for pre dinner drinks.
These guys are like family. A top notch bar with bartenders who all know what they're doing and can craft you a fabulous cocktail delivered with fabulous customer service. Bonus points if you like whisky as they have an impressive selection coincidentally I don't like whiskey and have never been short of a delicious tipple in this place. Go and check it out! Almost don't want to tell you about it because it's our favourite little place....
