One of my go-to spots in Chermside when family and friends are craving Chinese food! This Singapore restaurant has been a favorite for years. Located in the heart of the garden area, the ambiance and décor are always welcoming. The food is consistently delicious, and the salty chicken fried rice is an absolute must-try—it’s a hit with everyone! Highly recommend for a tasty and satisfying meal.
We came in a group of 10 for lunch, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The portions were so generous that we had leftovers. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our experience was top-notch. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
Sharing a review as a frequent customer. Overall verdict: Inflexible service Poor utilisation of space Lost me as a customer in the future At time of writing this review, i am hosting my in-law family for a birthday celebration lunch. Upon arrival, i was told that the round table picture attached was only for 8 people and above. As my group comprised of 6 + infant in a pram, im apparently not eligible to use that space. Negotiations including but not limited to buying food fit for 8 people was met with nothing but obstruction. I have re-iterated that this is not a usual lunch but a birthday celebration I.e. I'm willing to spend. For the entirety of the lunch, we were relegated to 2 small tables while the round table remains unoccupied. I applaud the manager's unwavering stance regarding the policy, but I'm utterly disappointed by the inflexibility and ultimately regardless of how tasty the food might be, my appetite for this lunch and future meals is gone.
My seafood Laksa was salty and the softshell crab Fried in a bad way, I can taste the oil seems like didnt change for a while.Food: 3/5
Good food. Bad service. Hospitality is dead especially when you come in near an hour before end of service. Staff does not inform of last order. We eat here a lot. Our recent experience was just the worse. Didn’t get to enjoy the food as it was clearly evident the cook staff were not happy to make the order. Had one order of peking duck remade as the portion was significantly smaller than the standard. The staff excuse was the lettuce wrap being too big. Honestly, it was not. It’s the order I always get. Just unfortunate this time that the portions were not equal to the rest. On top of that, we were the ones made to suffer for a mistake they initially made. Drinks were declared unavailable at 8:20, except carbonated drinks. Still would eat here, but expect better service.
I always enjoy visiting little Singapore. Great food, great atmosphere and delicious drinks. Their margarita is the best in Chermside.Food: 5/5
Walked into the feverish bustle of Little Singapore on a Saturday night—a theatre of waiters weaving deftly between tables, a kitchen in full view, flames and aromas licking the air. The menu, though, reads like a novella, sprawling with over 130 dishes across Chinese, Malay, and Indian cuisines. We asked our first server for recommendations, but he looked at us like we’d just asked him to recite Shakespeare. Thankfully, a second swooped in, rattling off favorites with the confidence of a man who’d sampled every dish twice. We went with beef rendang, honey prawns, salt-and-pepper squid, tofu goreng with rojak sauce, and coconut rice. The food arrived lightning fast, giving us barely enough time to absorb the scene. And the verdict? The honey prawns—miraculous little bombs of sweetness—stole the show. The rest—rendang, squid, tofu—did the job: solid, good, but no life-altering epiphany. A touch pricey, perhaps, but if you’re after an expedition through Asia on a plate, Little Singapore is worth a whirl.
Although very busy, they found a place for me. The service was great. Friendly and efficient. The food came out very quickly. The lobak came with a small serving of Fried tofu. Curry puffs were had a firm crust on the outside, soft and flavourful on the inside. The Ho-fun noodles were so nice! I had the combination ho-fun which came with 2 huge prawns on top. The dry curry chicken was very delicious. Highly recommended and not overpriced at all
Quick service and approachable staff members. Food are generous on amount and tasty as it looks. I ordered laksa with roasted duck meat. Awesome experience Food: 5/5
Right in the heart of Chermside shopping centre with the open area in front you can enjoy this lovely restaurant. The ambience is great with colourful and inviting decor. The food and service we also found to be first class. We had the Roti with curry chicken and the Singapore noodles. Both were lovely dishes which we enjoyed. If I had any feedback I asked for some fish sauce for my table which I like with the Singapore noodles but they only could provide soy sauce. I think condiments are important in Asian restaurants. We also had the frappe drinks which were fantastic. We had the strawberry, mango and pineapple ones. The pineapple one that could have been mixed a little more with lumpy pieces not quite mixed in.
