The place is tiny, but the variety of Korean food items and fresh produce available here is truly impressive. This place makes me feel like I am back at the little neighbourhood supermarket in Seoul, grocery shopping for dinner. You would need to be a Korean to be able to discern the difference - There are bigger, fancier K grocery stores across Melb but I only go here. Two thumbs up.
Excellent service every time and the shop is well-stocked and has products I cant find anywhere.nnBUT check the expiry date of the products you’re buying and your receipts before you leave.nI was overcharged, and had to drive back to get a refund. After that, the gochujang i bought expired in April 2026, and its already the month of May!nCant be bothered going back the second time!
Always have some surprise in this store as they sometimes sell some good quality and in-season fruits. So you need to check out regularly.nnBought some long persimmons. BIG Warning: for these long persimmons, you must wait until it is fully ripe and soft before eating. Otherwise, your tongue will be numb. TIL.nnWould be nice if the owner can remind customers of this fact that not everyone, including me, would know.
Friendly staff, prices are reafresh and authentic Korean items are being sold there. The only thing is that labels and prices for the items should also have English translation next to the Korean letters this will also help people that is trying to learn Korean language. I was forever asking how much each of the item I was interested, cost.
Cute little Korean grocery store and has a small little butchery station at the back with sliced pork, beef ribs, bulgogi etc. and amazing homemade side dishes like pickled squid, perilla leaves radish etc. They also have a good selection of alcohol and fresh vegetables. Perfect place to get all your supplies for a BBQ night.
