Located in Union Street, Ascot Vale is Little Byrd Café. It has recently had some renovations and the interior is nice and modern with lovely table and chairs. There is also an upstairs area now. Everything looked great on the menu and it took us a while to work out what we would like to have for breakfast. We decided on the Chilli Scrambled Eggs, the Shakshuka and the French Toast. While we were waiting on the dishes we enjoyed a coffee each. Great coffee, lovely and smooth. Shakshuka is always a go to and Little Byrds didn’t disappoint. Very tasty and the perfect serve of bread to wipe the skillet clean! The chilli scrambled eggs was delicious. Just the right amount of heat combined with the silky eggs and slices of mushrooms. The French Toast isn’t just IG worthy, it’s so yummy too. Its light fresh flavours made it the perfect sweet dish. We would definitely visit again. Little Byrd is a busy cafe with a relaxing vibe. Service was polite and prompt. We sat outside despite the chilly summer weather. Coffees came almost straight away. Rabih suggested the French toast and whatever else we would like. The Shakshuka and chilli scrambled eggs came out reasonably quickly followed by Rabihs recommended French Toast. The table exploded with the sight and smells of delicious food. We thank Little Byrd for a lovely Saturday morning breakfast. We experienced Little Bryd as guests. All of our opinions are genuine and are based on our experience at the time of our visit.
A really nice and cosy brunch place that we decided to visit before the Royal Melbourne Show. The staff was really helpful and friendly, offering to move us to a more cosy table whenever convenient as there were 5 of us. The Shakshuka is a must order on their menu! Came with toast and butter on the side, and every bite was full of flavour and the baked eggs were kept warm in a pan throughout our meal. The open chicken souvlaki was amazing and very filling, and came with a generous side of fries. Coffee was great and I would definitely visit whenever I'm back in this suburb. Thank you once again for the amazing service!
great cafe. food was very nice and reasonably priced. great atmosphere. been here a couple times and its always great. will come back and recomend if in the area. i wasnt a fan of their music choice but it was pretty quiet anyway Vegetarian options: plenty of tasty vegi options available
Passed by Little Byrd's 'Espresso' at Highpoint Shopping Centre. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, even during a busy time. This made all the difference, as other coffee outlets in the Centre don't really value customer service. Price for the coffee was reasonable and coffee itself was delicious. Will certainly be returning to try their other beverages and sweets on offer.
Weekend brunch scenes are back and we recently visited @little.byrd in Ascot Vale Thee place had a cool vibe and we absolutely enjoyed our spread here. We started with Coffee of course!! and then had the Pulled pork benny and the middle eastern platter which were delish. Then for that sweettooth craving we had the French toast and drizzled maple syrup all over it. It was soft, fluffy and just awesome. And that called for a perfect finish to brunch. You should definitely try @little.byrd
Ordered the homemade beef burger. It was juicy and delicious and comes with a side of thin chips. Would definitely eat here again. Lots of flavour. Definitely a good burger.
We've ordered a number of different food items off uber eats from here, and every single one has been outstanding. This is a definite regular for us! Keep up the awesome work!
I saw the barista smack an employee on the butt as soon as I walked in. I felt very uncomfortable in the cafe after that so I left. Shame I came here a good 4 - 5 years ago and the servers were awesome. Please clean up your act in front of customers!!
Best coffee made by professionals. Been going there for years and always consistent. The food is hearty and made fresh always. Highly recommended
The big breakfast spinach is too salty, but the fried cheese is very tasty. You can choose the way to cooking the eggs, and the bread is also very good. Staff service deserves full marks, very friendly and funny, so that we can enjoy a very comfortable and satisfied brunch. We also take away two beautiful cakes home, the pity is a bit too sweet.
