Last Choice. What is it with the retail staff here and asking people for ID? I get it's a part of the RSA duty but this is entering 'power trip' zones. I've seen a few other perplexing reviews from customers having the same issue. Counter staff quizzed myself and my dad when buying craft beer. I'm visibly in my 30's and he's in he's 60's. If they're using some 'Benjamin Button' kinda yardstick for gauging age; I'm pretty sure we're not in the 'risk category' of 15-17 year olds. I was 'denied access' to buy me beers because I didn't have any ID on me and a digital version wasn't good enough, apparently. The girl who served me was beyond condescending and another staff member who seemed to be hunting for confrontation and conflict within earshot made a stupid remark saying 'your reward is no beers'. They're obviously making waaaaayyy much cash to train their staff correctly and as aforementioned akin to the service received - the offering is pretty half-baked. Go to Cellarbrations – at least the staff are really friendly, knowledgable, the offering is infinitely better and pretty stoked to know you've had a rubbish experience at Last Choice.

OK hands up who likes a good bottle shop, yep me too, it's filled with so much variety, I've started trying, liqueurs I love Wild Turkey American Honey it's so good, Jim Beam have one as well, Drambuie is to die for, Cointreau and Bailey's are a fabulous mix on ice yes I know what it's called Midori Cointreau and lemon juice mix with crushed ice OMG that's it, it's 4 o'clock somewhere in the world, enjoy your drinks....oh this is our Bully's Izzy twinkle toes left & Bentley he's our beautiful boy they are waiting for their 4 o'clock treats, & that's Bentley trying to relax on Sammy the cats bed he's funny ... Big Smiles x

We were “served” by Karen, your middle aged lady staff member and such a disappointment. No smile or even a hint of eye contact. We attempted small talk, and still nothing. Just really rude. I know everyone has a bad day, but maybe ask to be moved from away the register. You will lose business if this is your standard of service.

Wines are displayed in a manner that makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Adequate space in the Isles, staff very helpful. It's a joy to visit each month to stock up.

It's a really good large shop, but doesn't quite have the range of Dan Murphy and also maybe just a little less polished generally

I was looking for my favourite bottle of wine as it was on special but First Choice ran out. But what they did do for me was ring around to find some for me. Great service. Friendly and very helpful . THANK YOU.

Huge shop with huge range of just about any kind of alcoholic beverages. Good prices with some extra good bargains & helpful staff
