I dealt with these guys on behalf of my mother when her Nissan CVT failed, the experience is as followed. 

They charged $600 more than quoted for the job and took something like 3 weeks to complete 8 hours labour. Thus extra charge was mentioned only upon pickup of the vehicle, I had the full quoted amount for payment but they weren't going to let me take it without paying the extra amount. The supplied invoice was also in someone else's name?!

The vehicle was returned to me with a ripped seal, this resulted in all the transmission fluid draining from the vehicle overnight and it having to be returned from Levin the next day. Not only did this wasye 1/2 my day but how much damage did driving that rebuilt transmission with little/no fluid do?

The rebuilt transmission ($2600 worth) ultinately failed after only a few thousand kms and was well within the warranty period but the part that failed apparently wasn't replaced during the rebuild, so consequently wasn't covered by the warranty. How convenient.

Upon the transmission faulting and the vehicle going back for the warranty check they also had refused my mother of 77 any further service until the negative Google review I had already placed had been removed. 

This is blackmailing an elderly lady in an attempt to censor the truth about the experiences of dealing with this business.

I may have had to remove the review 
at the time but its back now...

As I live in a different town. I called a few days before and was told I could come in wednsday.i was told to call on wednsday mprning to confirm a time for that day. So I drove to palmerston north and called and was told they didn't have time and to come Thursday!!! When they literally told me to come in wednsday. Waste of my time and my money. Not impressed at the bad organisation and the fact I wasted fuel because these guys can't sort themselves out.  Thanks for nothing.

Wasted my money here,
pay for replacing stepper motor without necessary.
And the problem still exists.
