Let me first say Thank You to all the Truck and coach drivers past and present and to all future drivers. They are the backbone of Australia without them Australia wouldn't be Australia. It is nice to see a memorial other than a military one. It is well maintained and loved by all. They have a memorial day, there are two convoys, one starts at Carole Park Brisbane and the other one starts at Toowoomba and finishes at Gatton Showgrounds. Nice and quite good place to relax and keep the memories alive. I highly recommend going to have a look . Right next to it is Lake Apex which has a walking path around it, wheelchair and pram friendly. With two museums and an art gallery nearby.
Nicest memorial I have ever seen. Restrooms spotless. Surroundings very well kept, easy parking.
You can't rate this anything less than 5. This monument is very well done. Well worth the visit.
good place to visit, it is both a very good place to relax and a landmark.nthere's a lake just beside this landmark area with many picnic area, with bbq place and place to cover, so no need to afraid if there will be rain soon.ngot playground for child to play.nmany choices of things for playing as well.nits just next to lake apex.
This is my first visit to this memorial.. wow.. really impressed.. Very touching.. lots to read.. Only called in quickly, so next time I will spend more time...
