This was GENUINELY one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too. To start our server Rob was so welcoming and helpful with describing the menu to us. We had the veggie spring rolls which were so delicious and the king fish ceviche which was incredibly moreish and then the eggplant and pork belly Boa Buns for mains - the best boa buns we’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this place enough if your in Noosa! We’re heading to Byron where we’ll be trying their sister restaurant The Smoking Camel next.
Amazing is an understatement! Food was delicious - if you get a chance to visit - the prawns are a must! Cocktails, beautiful! Staff were hospitable, especially the manager , from memory I think his name was Shawn.nnThank you , will definitely be back on our next trip!
Light Years at Noosa exceeded expectations, offering a fantastic fusion of modern Asian cuisine with a vibrant atmosphere. We started with the king tuna, which was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, perfectly seasoned, and balanced with light coconut and chilli. The crispy pork belly followed, a standout dish with a beautiful crackling and tender meat that paired wonderfully with the sweet and tangy glaze.nnThe beef rendang was a rich and aromatic delight, slow-cooked to perfection, with deep, complex flavors that left a lasting impression. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, offering a harmonious mix of textures and flavors.nnThe cocktails were equally outstanding! Loved the spicy marg, which wasn’t on the menu but the amazing bar staff made for me anyway.nnService was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff ensuring we had everything we needed. From start to finish, it was a memorable experience that I highly recommend for anyone visiting Noosa.
We have been here a few times, and we've loved it every time. Service is always good, food is full of flavour, portions are value for money, and the ambience is always great. We went for lunch on a Sunday last time and enjoyed less people in the restaurant, taking our time through one dish at a time, and working through the wines by the glass. This is a fantastic restaurant!
We were so pleasantly surprised by our dining experience last night!nAfter being turned away from a venue across the road due to our one year old daughter not meeting their liquor license, we tried our luck at Light Years.nBeing a weekend at a popular venue, we knew our chances were slim. However, the staff went above and beyond to find room for us, despite a booking, baby and all! We were offered 3 different seating options as well as a highchair.nOur families needs were accommodated for, through the duration of our dinner. Our baby was engaged with and even offered her own drinking cup.nThe meals were absolutely phenomenal and will be highly recommended.nThank you to all staff who made our evening such a pleasant, positive and deliciously memorable one!
