Probably the one of the best company I've worked for. The best approach in client focused. Lots of companies do things similarly, I can see lifestyle supports do things differently to help with clients challenging behaviour. I use to work for centacare which had a team of 27 staff for 1 house. This approach is the worse because clients has to get use to 27 different faces and the way they do things. This approach encourages behaviours. Very impressed with their challenging behaviour strategies in places. I've only been in the industry for a year now. And I've worked in 4 different company in that time. Its pretty much, every support worker for themselves. You either are able to deal with challenging behaviour or not. Where as lifestyle supports has strategies in place to help you learn, manage, understand and cope with challenging behaviours. Not many companies do that which is silly. I am an ex staff of lifestyle supports and im grateful for my time and experience I've had with them. The interactions and implementation with the farm is actually amazing. The clients love it and they look forward to it every day. I can see this company to be the shining light in the near future for other companies to follow.
