Story

We bring Life Drawing into the 21st century with themes and poses that reflect the cultural zeitgeist of our time - with the occasional nod to the classics. Themes include Shiibari, Moments of Life, erotic and fetish, character, messy. Whether you're an established artist or absolute beginner, we can offer what you won't find in any other class in Melbourne. Bring your own materials or come empty handed and use ours for a donation. Sessions each Wednesday evening, 7PM til 9PM - book by email to reserve your place.

Fun and relaxed drawing class with creative themes. The lady who runs the space is welcoming and I would recommend this class to beginners especially as there are drawing supplies and the vibe is really friendly. One suggestion I would make is colour. Would love to see some more colourful themes!

I recently attended the LDM workshop to become a life model. I had no idea there was so much to consider when posing for artists! The coach was super friendly, approachable and obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. Her assistant and the Director were also really friendly and lovely. I felt completely comfortable the entire time despite being naked in front of a bunch of strangers! I met some cool people, felt very liberated by the whole process and learned way more than I expected to learn. I highly recommend this workshop for anyone wishing to become a life model.

I modeled for these guys and had a great time. Really nice people and the studio is a great space, warm and calming. It was so much fun to model to a theme instead of just pulling poses. Probably the best class I've modeled for.

This is an awesome class. I really like the themes - I went to one with Shibari, a circus theme, and a yoga theme. They were much more interesting than just a static model. The people were great too. And they have tim tams :)

I'd never been to a life drawing class before and was slightly nervous but I had a great time, it was a really relaxed atmosphere and I loved how creative the themes and poses were. Will be returning with some friends next week for sure!
