Lido Cinema

Great experience! Went during a weekday so the tickets were slightly cheaper. Seats were comfortable, and I felt very jealous of everyone who got ice-cream before the showing I didn't and regretted it the moment the movie started!. Staff are super friendly and I loved the little lounge waiting area outside screen 2. Couldn't recommend highly enough :

The interior has a suave feel about it and the staff were extremely personable and friendly. I didn't find the seats especially comfortable but they were roomy and offered plenty of leg room. It's not my closest cinema, but it does offer an intimacy and quaintness missing at the larger multiplexes around the city. If you're tossing up whether to give it a try, it's certainly worth the experience.

Went for the first time in 30-odd years and absolutely loved it!!! Very elegant and old-school, well-supplied with food and drinks including wine The waiting/ library area has very comfortable couches, a fireplace and a great selection of books and magazines to peruse while you wait for your movie session. So cosy and just a bit decadent! Two small cinemas with comfy seats and you have all you need. Highly recommend if you want to spoil yourself. Screens the latest big box office movies and more Arthouse films as well.

Very friendly staff Lovely lounge to enjoy a wine coffee or ice cream. Ultra comfortable large cinema seats. Three theatres. Highly recommended

So lucky to have the Lido as my local cinema. No cinema in Auckland compares to this fabulous venue for excellent movies, great coffee, wine and snacks. Really enjoy sitting in the upstairs newly renovated theatre.

LOVE this place, great selections of the movies, nice lazy boy seats in front rows. Buying tickets on line makes things easier and they don't charge you the fees.

Haven't been here in years. Nice little theater. Great way to take time out to watch a movie in the afternoon. Clean toilet facilities.

Lido is so classy and the front row seats are so comfortable! Heaven. Also the ice cream is the best. I have to take one star off because there is no fresh popcorn which to me is kind of a must, otherwise this would be my favorite cinema ever!

My favourite theatre to go to, to watch a movie. Clean with an open fire in the winter months and a nice glass of wine that we can take into the theatre. Friendly staff to match the peaceful atmosphere of the theatre
