Established in 1978, the LEA Group specialises in providing personalised general, commercial and life insurance services to corporate and general business clients.

Story

LEA Group is based in Bundall on the Gold Coast with authorised representatives at Ashgrove and Milton in Brisbane. From our early beginnings as Barry J Lea and Associates (established 1978) to renaming as LEA Insurance Brokers in 2005 we have been an integral part of the Queensland insurance industry with partners having held positions on State and National insurance Bodies.

Like most brokers our focus is on commercial and business insurances, but we are also keen to be a part of the personal insurance market where our expertise can be of great benefit. Through our membership of IBNA we have access to the highest quality insurance policies developed especially for the membership and supported by the major insurers. Our emphasis is quality of advice and our staff are required to deliver client satisfaction not only at premium time but also at claim time where the advice is put to the test.

I met Paul  a few years ago when it was suggested that I take my insurances to LEA. It was the best move I've made. I recently suffered a head injury and was unable to work. With Pauls guidance, I was able to continue my life, without the financial pressure of not working.
I thank you Mr Langdale, and am forever grateful for your assistance.
I strongly recommend LEA as a broker. They are straight shooters, when it comes to insurance.

We met Paul after having our policy for 11 years and had tried to review it with our existing broker who dismissed us.

Ed rang six insurance brokers to address the issue.
Of all the calls only Paul contacted us and arranged to drive from the Gold Coast to Brisbane to discuss our needs.

When Paul was looking through our documents he pointed out that there was a total and permanent disability insurance that we could have claimed based on our situation.

Ed has suffered from an untreatable depressive illness for 6 years and had been unable to work. During this period he had been hospitalised, and had unsuccessfully tried various trial drugs and electric shock treatment. We had sadly pealed off various assets awaiting any improvement.

Paul tenaciously followed our TPD claim and kept us informed at every turn. The Psychiatrists supporting Ed wrote a lengthy report to assist the claim. Paul kept the insurance claim officers in the loop and on task. 

We are ecstatic that we were successful with the claim because it means that if we are extremely prudent we will not lose everything we worked so hard for prior to the depression. For me I will cut down the 12 hour days to a steady eight.

We are eternally grateful to have met someone who is genuinely doing business for the right reasons. A man of integrity I would recommend him to anyone who wants to be in trusted hands.

My husband recently had an income insurance claim and Paul Langdale of Lea Insurance Brokers.
The claim was handled quickly and professionally.
We would not have been able to survive financially without this cover.
