Le Paris Plage has a cozy atmosphere, delicious food and great coffee! What more could you ask for? My partner and I come here a lot and have never been disappointed!
The place is nice and smells enticing. You know: butter, pastry- what’s not to like?? I honestly would say I am no connoisseur of French cuisine, some of the kitchen staff were speaking French and the title of the Special dish I ordered was in French SO I have to assume this is authentic. The crepes weren’t at all what I was expecting, I am generally not a huge fan of crepes. BUT MY GOODNESS. They were incredible. The wait/counter staff were very nice and polite- a couple of minor mistakes with the order rectified quickly so no issue with me. Mistakes happen. Some of the rattan chairs are kind of on the way out condition wise, because I swear to god I had straw jabbing my a*s for half the meal.
Have been multiple times now and have enjoyed it thoroughly every single time. The savoury crepes are delicious and have been consistently good. The canelés are absolutely delicious and coffee is always spot on. It is a little pricey when ordering more than one item, but well worth going if you havnt been yet. Fantastic!
Very nice cafe with friendly and helpful staff. The normal crepes are delicious and with fresh ingredients. I don't suggest to ask for the gluten free options because to me wasn't very good, not sweet and not particularly good..
Overall the cafe is decorated nicely and truely has given me a homey feeling I am from Europe However, it is really overpriced considering that the ingredients for a crepes mix are very cheap. One crepes is about 15$. Everything we tried, but also their croissants etc. displayed was a little on the burnt side, however, still enjoyable. We came there twice on our holiday. First time, my partners ham and cheese croissant got served with the ham missing. We were not game enough to speak up after reading the previous reviews on the managers temper. Indeed, the staff members who appeared to be the managers have not greeted us in any way and in fact, going from their facial expressions, didn’t seem to enjoy their job as much. Coffee was good!
Excellent service in a great location. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Loved the almond croissant. Will definitely go again and try something different next time.
Love the classic French cafe vibe here. I usually come here for their savoury crepes, and sweet desserts. Good choice and tea too.
Still retain the French chic and quality authencity like the Le Carpe Diem outlet we frequented for years on end in the city. This keeps my French sanity and my love for French cuisine intact.
This is by far the best place for breaky in Glenelg - the crepes are very tasty with many options. The coffee and staff are also lovely.
Such a lovely place offering a wonderful selection of sweet and savoury French food.
