I was curious to try french food. Ordered the ratatouille and escargots. The ratatouille wasn’t hot, but the chilled version, and was quite calming to eat, but not filling. Well flavoured. The escargots were buttery and the bread hard and chewy. The price was not cheap.
We stopped here for a drink last night as the alleyway was lit up with fairy lights, and looked amazing. The waiter was super polite, and even had a very charming French accent! And to top it off, they brought us out a complimentary bread snack! Thanks so much. Highly recommend.
Always a great time at Le Chef. Friendly staff, great food and wine. One comment about the lunch steak deal, it's quite a thick/tall steak so sometimes is "rare" if you wanted medium rare. I remember they used to have shorter steaks and wasn't an issue before.
Food was tasty but at city prices. Service was great , food was good and quality but not too rated. Escargots were tasty, baked camembert nice but not great, croque monsieur ok but overpriced. Creme brulee was good to see them flame in front of you but not the best brulee you will try. Overall a nice place
Delicious start to the day. Should have taken photos, food was beautifuly presented.
Attended an event there. Very enjoyable just hated the music so didn't stay longer. It was well run and organized.
Good food, they give you time to order and even explain the menu a little disappointed with my margarita but the food made up for it.
