I went here for the Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband. The dinner course was tasty and awesome presentation! But they chose chicken breast for the main was disappointing for me. Wine choice was nice, everything else was quite satisfying!
Had a birthday dinner at Le Bistro des Gourmets and it was great. The food was delicious, the presentation was very good and Alex's knowledge of the food was impressive too. The birthday cake we ordered, and was made by the same chef, was very delicious too. Thank you guys for making it a great evening for us.
We had an amazing experience at Le Bistro Des Gourmets. The food was flawless and the atmosphere is great. We had the table by the window looking out at Rangitoto. Just beautiful! I highly recommend this restaurant.
We had the same experience as other diners. We booked a table because my sister had such a great meal, and it was the same for us. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The menu is quite small, but I’m sure that is what allows the chef to produce such consistently fine flavours.

A small, intimate French restaurant tucked away upstairs on Parnell rise. Had a great romantic dinner here; well-worth a try if you like French food.
The food is authentically French simple and fresh. Service is very professional. Wine is exquisite. Christophe, Melanie and Alex clearly love what they do : what a breath of fresh air!
If I could have given Le Bistro six stars I would have done! I have spent several years in France and this restaurant is the real thing. The food was sublime, from the goats cheese creme brulee to the crepes suzettes, via one of the best fish dishes I have ever tasted. Service was attentive yet unobtrusive.
