Went there on a weekday lunchtime with my mum, the cafe was approx 50% full. We ordered at the counter and found a comfortable seat by the entrance. We ordered a burger and a salmon risotto. The food came out in a timely manner. The burger had a lot of ingredients and a juicy burger. The risotto was quite nice and full of flavour. Price was reasonable. Would definitely go there again if I'm in the area.
One of our favourite places to come for brunch. The food is always yummy and cooked to perfection. The staff are really friendly and the cafe is always clean. For a sweet afternoon snack their cakes or slices are perfect for a takeaway treat
Delicious! I love Lazy Cat I've been coming here since they opened. The food is always hot and fresh and the staff and super attentive. The store is always clean. Get the breakfast burger! Totally worth it and the coffee is heavenly
Great place for a hot beverage. Hot chocolate’s are delicious. Chocolate frappe was ok, but I dislike paper straws. I did have poached eggs on toast with avocado once but didn’t rate it as the toast was more like bread.
Changed their beans to Campos which is much better than before. However their coffee still lacks taste - maybe milk. Thai style salad very nice. Broccolini in eggs benedict was over cook with no taste also I think plating could be better
This is my usual go to cafe, maybe because it's local to me and the food is great too. The last visit we have egg benedict on waffle and bingsu. The contrast between slightly waffle with egg is something different and we love it. The fine ice of bingsu that melt in your mouth on a hot day was great. My other favourite is their cheese Korean fried chicken.
The oreo bingsu was nice but a very small portion compared to every other place I've been to for the same price. The black sesame late` was like drinking 5 tablespoons of sugar. Everyone at my table tasted it, and everyone agreed that it was just simply undrinkable. Unfortunate because it was an interesting idea for a drink.
The menu looks a little pricey but once you get the food you realise just how good it is. The presentation is outstanding, the food so fresh and healthy. Staff were very helpful and serve you in a timely manner. You need to order from the counter but they bring the food to your table. Nice atmosphere and a break from the crowds on a weekend downstairs in the main shopping area. I'll definitely be coming back. I would like to see the staff serve the tables and to go around clearing plates off. Whilst the customer is at the table, they walk past without noticing the dirty dishes and plates. Iced coffee should be served with a spoon for the ice cream... Update 16/10/22: Food took a while due to being busy. But it was still done to a high standard. They have better table service now too. Iced coffee frappe was really worth trying! Only problem was that they gave us only 1 fork in the tray when we said there were the two of us dining together. Parking: Parking on the same level - rooftop of Lidcombe shopping center. Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking in front of the entrance to the shopping center - rooftop parking is same level as cafe. Shopping center has lift if you park downstairs.
The hot food and drinks is usually really nice but the last few times when I’ve ordered caramel slice I notice a weird chemical taste. I think the pastry fridge needs a deep clean or to get checked as to why it’s causing food to taste strange. Edit: I feel unwell and I believe possible the caramel slice has been in the fridge a long time
I love this cafe so much. I look for two things in a cafe; iced matcha and eggs Benedict. Lazy cat checks my boxes and boasts a yummy brunch menu, wide refreshing drink range and a very pretty bingsoo. I have been coming here for almost three years and plan to as long as it is there.
