I am fed up with the rubbish bins not being emptied on a regular basis you can ģo down there on most days and you can smell them as you drive in and you can be sure that the bins are full of rubbish and maggots. The recycle bin near the barbecue area hasn't been emptied for at least 4 months to my knowledge . I believe Cleanaway has the contract to do this. The rate payers are not getting value for money.

The lawnton boat ramp.. the name gives nothing away except that yes there is a fantastic boat ramp to launch your vessel of floaty nature into the occasionally pristine waters of the North Pine River.. Great for fishing and boating alike.. connected up to deep water bend and feeds from the dam. The boat ramp also boasts a nice spot to park and turn around with a fantastic park located adjacent. The park itself has bathroom, barbeques, playground, geochashes, grass hill to cardboard slifr down, parking, large open spaces, room to use RC cars, planes, drone and boats.. plus plenty of quiet locations for a nice picnic. Worth checking out for all. Lawnton hidden Gem, come find it !!
