The team at Laundry Box did an amazing job on fixing a previously poor alteration done by a different business on an high quality suit. I was hesitant in having someone try to do the repair but I paid so much for the suit that I couldn't bare to leave it hanging in my wardrobe any more. I run a DIY Blinds and Esenar which are both window furnishing businesses. I send all my customers in VIC to Laundry Box. They're not only knowledgable and do an incredibly job on a variety of fabric types, they offer old school service that makes them an absolute delight to work with. Photos attached of happy customers curtains being rehung after they'd been cleaned by the team at Laundry Box. Side note/disclaimer. Always check that the fabric is suitable for dry cleaning, and ask for care instructions from where ever you've sourced your curtains :
Truly exceptional dry-cleaning work! I brought in a vintage 1960s' suede jacket that was so badly discoloured, grubby and shrunken that I assumed it was ruined. "Do what you can with it", I asked, not expecting much. When I returned a week later - after Carolina's marvellous people had done their magic cleaning, drying, re-oiling and brushing?? - the jacket had been restored to its former glory! Later I'll post some before & after photos. Since getting the jacket dry-cleaned I've also had several clothing alterations done at Laundry Box Port Melbourne, and all the work has been fabulous. The alterations staff are true professionals. I'd also like to mention how LOVELY everyone is ... not just the owner Carolina but also all the staff employed by the store.
Couldn’t find a laundry service way better than this, trust me~ If you have any clotheswhatever materials they are, they’ll advise you first on the items you hand over to them. I’m kinda like the way that they advise on how to take care of your clothes upon receiving, which rarely to be seen. We had a leather piece and others that day and received it in perfect condition handled with care and wrinkle-free! Anyone’s looking for a laundry service, this place is a gem!
Massive shout out to Laundry Box couldn't ask for a better Dry Cleaners. I gave them some challenging jobs removal of stains and some alterations. Jeans never fit me but I need them for a new job and tried my luck with this store. I purchased three and picked up all three the next day, all altered really strong and like they had been bought like that and staff so polite and helpful!!
