Supposedly the best cafe in Darwin. Pretty crowded on a weekday lunch. Decent pastrami sandwich and full breakfast works. Kids menu available too. Coffee is great! They serve Zest Coffee from Melbourne so the beans are awesome.

Really disappointed. We walked in on Saturday morning. The shop was fully occupied yet there were vacant seats. Staff came up four times within just ten minutes asking if we were ready to order, which made us feel quite pressured.nnWe ordered French toast. As a big matcha lover, I had high expectations for the dish. Surprisingly, the French toast served to us was burnt. Didn’t anyone check the food before bringing it out?nnThe matcha French toast cost $28.6. It is definitely not cheap. That’s all I can say

Went twice one holidays because it was so good we had to come back. Great coffee, good ice tea and the food was generously served and tasted fantastic. With and without reservation our party of 5 was accomodated easily. Highly recommend this spot for a large breakfast or brunch!

Our first stop once hopping off the plane in Darwin! It was nice and cool inside and had a good selection of creative drinks and food. Unfortunately the gas wasn’t working when we arrived so we were unable to order the exact meals we wanted, but the staff were still very helpful in suggesting substitutes to make it work :

Very packed on a Friday morning compared to the other cafés and bakeries around.nnWe ordered an eggs benny, a toastie, and two coffees. Interestingly, the eggs benny came out before the coffee, which isn’t usually the case elsewhere. It was served with smoked salmon and spinach on sourdough. The portion was just right for one, so we ended up ordering another toastie to share from the takeaway menu. Taste-wise, the eggs benny was average, and the ham and cheese toastie was pretty standard as well.nnCoffee was fine, nothing standout. Do note there’s a credit card surcharge, so I opted to pay cash. Prices are as listed on the menu with no extra taxes or hidden charges.
