Lalor Primary School

I have been attending lalor primary for 9 years this year. The school has seen my oldest daughter through all of her primary education and now my middle child is attending his second year in 2017 in grade one. I now have a 6 month old and no doubt he will be attending lalor when his ready for prep. The support that has been given to my children's education and learning is just outstanding. All the staff within the school, be that the leadership staff, class teachers, support staff, wellbeing team, or oshc staff are so warm and welcoming. They have all strived to provide for my children's needs and always communicate with me about my child's learning and achievements in a friendly and professional manner. The curriculum follows the national standards but I find staff to happily individulise my child's learning so he is able to learn in a way that best benefits him and all the children within their class. The school offers for opportunities where the children are able to work within the school grounds about life experiences using incursions aswell as using excursions to offer a broader scheme of knowledge from other resources. Lalor Primary is not just a school to my children or myself. It is truly like a second family.
