Fast, friendly, professional service with a comprehensive menu of authentic Malaysian food. Large portions, and very fast delivery of food to the table. Daily specials, and suggestions from waiters. The restaurant is very clean, plenty of seating available and plenty of staff who are are able to fulfil any requests with ease. Easy to find and very close yo public transport. I really enjoyed bringing my family here, there was something for everyone, and price wS reasonable for the portion and quality of the food provided.
Super busy all the time! Had to wait for a seat but it was worth it. It’s my first time here and honestly the laksa was really good. Even the Prawn Noodles Har Mee was great too! It was just the seafood laksa that i tried and the broth was very tasty! The sauce is not as thick as the authentic ones you get in Malaysia but it was good enough to satisfy my cravings. Included all necessary and essential ingredients, eggplant was awesome! Overall i would give it a 7/10. Har Mee was very nice, super tasty but not spicy unfortunately! I like my prawn soup with a little kick of spice. It came with a sweet sambal, thought it would have been spicy to enhance the flavour. But the noodles are a little weird, it is more common to have Har Mee with vermicelli and yellow noodles but I was served egg noodles. Do also wish the broth was more starchy and thick. The prawns were huge and very fresh! The waitresses were friendly, they try get you in and out as quickly as they can though.
Great food. True to its name, their laksa broth tastes really good. We had their special snakehead fish vermicelli soup and it was fresh and delicious. Other dishes tried include lobak, 5 spice chicken ribs and sweet & sour pork. Be warned that this place gets really busy!
Beautifully done laksa’s and a good variety of Malaysian food that you can choose from. The place is always full, the worst part is that they do not take bookings! I was very surprised by that, no bookings on weekdays or the weekends. Have to wait in line for ages. We recently visited on a weekday for lunch and were able to get a table pretty quickly than compared to our previous experiences. The laksas are delicious. The nasi lemak and the nasi goreng options are good as well. We have tried a almost all of the laksa options and vegetarian and chicken curry have been the best liked for us. We like the nasi goreng as well, do not forget to request sambal to go along with this. Not a big fan of the drinks menu
Missed our drinks and orders a few times but tbh they reacted quickly anyway so didn't really affect the awesomeness of the food experience. We've been here many times, definitely a local favourite.
Convenient location which just outside the Glen Waverley station. Efficient service. When I stepped into the door I was immediately greeted and taken to the table. Waitress was attentive. Took my order and brought my food in 10 mins. Saw me couldn't finish my shrimp, offered me take away box for free. The portion in this place is big and price is reasonable. First time trying Laksa. Really rich flavour and the noodles are cooked just right. Compared to fish fillets I am more into the tofu and eggplant. The wasabi prawn is a must try.
1 Didn't taste the kway teow. But should be good my sis-in-law ordered this 2 Coming from Singapore, personally this seafood laksa isn't recommended. The gravy is too watery. There's a slight hint of coconut milk, but that's about it. The squid, fish, prawn isn't fresh maybe I tasted better elsewhere in Melbourne, thus expect a certain standard for the freshness
Food hot, taste good Environment good. Ate in lunch time. Waiting time - fast Price good For my one my portion a little bit less. That’s the minus point. But would still give 5 stars
yyds! Delicious food! Fish head curry Is so good! Mush tryalso salted prawnGuaranteed you can eat two bowls of rice
Ordered chicken curry laksa and nasi goreng. The curry laksa is alright, would be better if the they use grill chicken. The fried rice is bit tasteless. Overall 4/5 for the food and the service
