Really enjoyed High Tea at Le Vie. 2 of us swapped out the champagne for a very nice bottle of Vasse Felix SSB which enhanced the value as total was 65$ per person. Great staff, lovely service and the Cheese ... Delish
I like this bar. It’s fancy! Lots of Ooh and Aahs from the drinks. We ordered Enchanted Rose, Foret Noire and Eternal Flame. The servings of the “Enchanted Rose” was quite theatrical. I was feeling like I was given a magical rose drink from the Beast. Foret Noire has a quite surprising taste. I feel like I’m having a black forest cake in a drink. Eternal Flame is actually taste like Pina Colada. If you have a sweet tooth and wanted to experience something different for your drink, the this is your place. They do serve a proper alcohol and food as well if you just want to chill and hangout with your friends.
Unfortunately they no longer serve the seafood platter we went there for. That's not a complaint, just hoping they bring it back. We ordered some Prosecco while we looked for an alternative, but after 10 minutes when the drinks had not arrived we cancelled the order and left. We have previously given them 5 stars for the service and food.
Incredibly divine setting. High cheese was amazing and value for money in my opinion. The camembert in the bread loaf was my favourite but I enjoyed all the dishes. The cocktails were based on fairytales. I had the Enchanted Rose Beauty and The Beast which was beautifully presented. The servers were super friendly polite and welcoming. Definitely would go again.
I was Excited to take my Mum for the High Cheese, after all the good reviews. Was so disappointed! Over priced and was nothing what I expected! We did not get two of the items which was mentioned? Which I only discovered when I got home. Definitely a NO NO from me!
Food with their high cheese was great, the service was not great, the waiters forgot we were their, when we went to the bar because they forgot to ask us what we would like to drink, they had no idea who we were, yet they'd just seated us. That happened twice. It was very noisy outside with the Dragon dance going on. Other than that, it was enjoyable.
Want something different? A tasty take on the traditional high tea? Then get yourselves along to La Vie at The Crown for the 'Champagne and Cheese" high tea. 4 flutes of various champagne and a great selection of matching cheese. Oh my, the baked camembert. Just delicious. A fabulous afternoon.
Excellent champagne lounge We have been to every new release / sponsor Always professional even when I spilled my Dom 08 The manager came and refilled my glass bottle was empty Top service. Champagne not too badly priced without the crazy markup put on Veuve.
Cocktails were very underwhelming for the price and sickly sweet. Wait staff were very attentative, though, and it's a funky place to sit before seeing a show.
Absolutely wonderful time here. We dropped in pn a whim and was served by a lovely lady who organised our party of 4 a table. Service was prompt and drinks were lovely. Will return for the high tea
