Simply amazing French cuisine. Great wine selection. Friendly service. 5 stars. Fantastic award winning restaurant inside - well done to Marco & Sandrine! Absolutely beautiful decor which compliments the perfectly presented and delicious dishes! Terrific function room upstairs also.
Dessert raspberry souffle is to die for. Creme Brulee was also perfect. I love the choices of dessert on the menu. The Orange duck was too rare, waitress should have asked us to specify doneness. Other dishes pretty good. I would like to eat here again next time I visit Adelaide. I should give it 4.5 out of 5 but I can't do half star.
A delightful dinner for 2 was had here. We ordered the duck which we thought was done well with a really strong gamey flavor cut thru with the limited citron sauce. The steak was ordered and made medium and was delectable. A side of broccolinni was ordered as well and it came perfectly crunchy and dressing was just right. I'd recommend a second visit to take advantage of their set 3course meal for $69. That way you can try their souffle and/or creme brulee. It feels and tastes of a true french restaurant with the concierge french as well. Do yourself a favor and make a visit. Photos attached doesn't do the food justice.
This restaurant is one of the best French restaurants I’ve ever been. It’s tucked away in Pirie Street with a frontage is very unassuming but the food is phenomenal. Highly recommended.
Fantastic French inspired fresh cuisine! Run by a lovely French couple who are super attentive Thankyou
Absolutely wonderful dinner, service and experience. My girlfriend and I had dinner here last night and had a great time. The only trouble we both had, was deciding who had the better meals. My first experience trying snails, delicious by the way. Some of the tastiest gnocchi we've ever tried, a beautifully cooked steak, though slightly under seasoned and a soufflé to die for. This place screams value for money, 3 delicious courses for only $69. I would highly recommend.
Food as superb as you'd expect from the French. Portion sizes were quite generous. Absolute must have dessert, to die for souffle. Large wine list, could do with one or two more options in the lower price scale though. Service was polite and functional.
Service is ok. We were waiting for main dishes for over an hour. I wanted to order my steak well done, but one of the staff suggested the furthest I should go was medium. I listened to her but what came out was very rare with blood dripping. I was so hungry after waiting so long and had to ask the staff to cook my steak again. It really influenced my mood for that night. I wouldn’t go there again!
The understated decor, together with the eclectic crockery and Riedel glassware helped to create a relaxing ambience. The service was attentive and friendly without being claustrophobic. Good range of aperitifs, wines and digestifs. The food? Good variety, well presented, but above all, each mouthful was delicious. Thank you for a great dining experience!
Warm friendly service and great food. An interesting menu with a good variety of well presented dishes on offer. Wine menu is not as extensive as some other places but adequate if a little pricey. Well worth a visit or two.
