Story

The first La Porchetta Restaurant was opened in 1985, when Italian born Rocky Pantaleo and Felice Nania took over a run-down pizza shop in Melbourne’s Italian hub.

News of La Porchetta’s great pizza, pasta and Italian-style menu, along with its atmosphere and great value, spread rapidly and soon it be became renowned as a special place to experience good food, love and a passion for life.

La Porchetta today is ever vibrant and continues to be part of the local community. Just as the kitchen is the center of Italian family life, our restaurants celebrate that feeling of being at home – delicious food made from fresh ingredients, warm service, great value and a family heart. Not one of … but THE BEST La Porchetta in town. Food is amazing! We have tried all La Porchetta in Melbourne, if you want Authentic Italian food then you should check this place out! !

Had a fantastic lunch with my daughter, The roast pumpkin salad my daughter got was very nice as was my pizza. Our waitress Nicole was very friendly and made sure we were looked after the entire time we were in. We have eaten here a cpl of times the past and can honestly say have never had a bad meal or experience here. Thank you Nicole & Staff at Mill Park La Porchetta

Love this place. Been coming here on and off for a good 15 years. Service was quick and staffs were friendly. This time we ordered the fettuccine pollo e fungi and seafood plate. The fettuccine was amazing, very flavourful. The seafood plate is not all fried either so not too heavy. Reasonably priced. Will definitely come back again.

Very nice food at this place and is always our go to restaurant. The service is second to none and overall a very nice comfortable place to be anytime of the day. Highly recommend.

I ate here recently and to be honest it was better than I had expected, most of the food was cooked and seasoned perfectly and was overall a very enjoyable meal however the garlic bread was slightly over cooked, with that I would grant Là Porchetta Mill Park a rating of 4/5 stars. However, the factor that brought this to a 5 star review was the customer service, by one employee in particular, I believe her name was Evelyn for memory. This young woman did a spectacular job at cleaning our table in a timely manner and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying everything, she genuinely provided the best customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. So for that I grant Là Porchetta Mill Park a 5/5 stars. Thank you to Evelyn for the wonderful service and also my respect and thanks to the kitchen for the beautiful food.

Was super excited to come and eat here as I’ve heard many great things , but was very dissatisfied. Ordered a chicken snitzel and it came Raw. The staff was not as apologetic as I thought they would be if I owned has own restaurant I would’ve been a lot more attentive to my customers. Do not eat here :
