A Gladesville institution, La Perla Seafood Ristorante has been going strong for 30 years. It's a friendly, family-run restaurant with George Colosi braving the early morning Fish Market Auctions, ensuring the freshness of the seafood served.

There are very few restaurant owners who insist on seeing first hand the quality of seafood coming in off the trawlers, which is why some of the comments you hear amongst patrons at La Perla are "I have never eaten fish like this before", "I have eaten swordfish at many restaurants, but this one, especially the way it has been cut, is superb".

A great place for lunch. The seafood choices are wonderful. I had a great plate of deep fried school prawns and my husband had the best fried garfish. The wines were very cold and they had a good selection. The atmosphere was very noisy and very Italian.

This is one of the best Italian bistro-restaurant to go to. The atmosphere with its owner-chef "Giorgio" always at your service and recommending what's fresh and good for the day make for a "homelike" atmospere. Needless to say, the food was the best!!!! Prices are reasonable too. Definitely a place to frequent!

Beautiful scampi dish.  Excellent options for anyone who does not particular like seafood.  A great place for a special occasion as it is a very nice setting but can be a bit expensive.

Some of the best italian food I have ever tasted. Will definitely bring my friends here

Service was average from some staff, good from others. Food was extremely overpriced for what it was. Although cooked well, it was quite simple.
