The decor, pastry, coffee and especially the famous croissant are so good and lovely. Beautiful spot in Norwood to stop by. I have been to this place multiple times and loved it every single time. The staff are very friendly and professional. Sourdough bread loafs are wonderful as well. Can't wait for another early morning treat here.
If you’re planning a wedding brunch, my tip is to use beautiful croissants and quiches from La Madeleine’s at Norwood. Choose from mushroom, vegetable or egg/bacon or choose the lot. The croissants are stunning including almond, pistachio/raspberry, plain, and more. All of our guests loved the delicious fresh, authentic flavours. And there are beautiful tarts and cakes. Yummmm.
La Madeleine is my favourite!! The best place in Adelaide for coffee, cakes and pastries. The cake "pleasure" is my go to I've ordered one for so many occasions. Service is always super friendly and welcoming Add it to your lists as I highly recommend this place.
I recently had my Bridal Shower at La Madeline, it was a wonderful day and the owner, Will was so accommodating and worked so hard with my MOH to make the day perfect. We had a high tea type catering including a mixture of savoury and sweet, the food was beyond impressive French Croissants, quiche, tarts were just *chefs kiss* and it was more than enough to feed everyone invited. The outdoor space was beautifully decorated and is a perfect space for a hens or bridal shower, I would recommend to anyone!
We got a Black Forest cake and my son thinks it’s one of the best cakes he’s had in his whole life. And can’t believe how reasonably priced it is. Thanks a lot will buy again from you
My first impression when I got into this place on a Monday morning is that the all-rounder person in charge was so busy that rushed everything gpr me to leave quick there's no one else at that time with me. My coffee was barely warm because he rushed it. Costumer service was poor. And the croissant chocolate filling was not good.
LaMadeleine is a must when visiting Norwood Parade. A delightful place for that regular morning coffee and croissant, Will makes the best cakes, tarts, croissants and quiches, as well as excellent coffee. Having enjoyed Will’s fine French catering for many years, we choose a selection of quiches and croissants to cater for a recent wedding brunch. The feedback from guests was overwhelming A big shoutout to Will for helping to make the occasion memorable.
Lovely place for a Sunday brunch sitting outside watching the Parade traffic. Had a craving for quiche and there’s was good, even if it did have a kind of microwaved texture to the crust. Can imagine their take home full size would toast up perfectly in an oven. The coffee was nice. We ended up trying a pear tart to finish things off. Now that was stunning.
Very nice little Cafe up the not so busy end of The Parade, Norwood. Have visited here numerous times and the coffee rarely disappoints - it is quite smooth and flavoursome, with a slight bitterness. The raspberry and pistachio croissants are the perfect accompaniment if they haven't run out. Otherwise, the french custard tarts flan parisien are a great option. Plenty of seating both inside and out with quite a relaxed atmosphere.
Wet morning , so nice stop for morning coffee which was good. Nice staff. Wish the plain croissant was just a bit more flaky
