My husband and I celebrated his birthday at this restaurant and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The ambiance was perfect - cozy, intimate and romantic - just what we were looking for. L'isle de France is by far our favourite restaurant on the Central Coast. From the fabulous meals right down to the beautiful decor and ambience of traditional French music sets the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. The staff are so attentive, personable and obliging- nothing is too much trouble. We absolutely love Tim who works there, he is such a joy to be around and always ensures that you're well looked after. He is actually one of the main drawcards to our entire family returning time and time again for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Do yourself a favour and try the fondant
"WOW," It's the first word I can tell about the restaurant. I've booked this restaurant for my anniversary. One of the best French restaurants I've tried so far. Ambience, Customer Service, Food everything is top-notch. Especially the owner of the restaurant is a too kind and smiley face. He is taking care of every customer request and full filling them with 100% satisfaction. Coming to the food we tried Non-Veg Three-Course and Veg Three Course. Got a lot of options in both types to choose from. Every spoon of food I tasted is so heavenly. It's my favourite restaurant from now on.
We both ordered 3 courses. Each dish tasted amazing. The standout for me is the souffle and the duck leg. The souffle is very flavaoursome. The duck leg is cooked to perfection. It was w busy Saturday night and the serving was quick. Lots of delicious French wines to choose. Can’t wait to go back!
A beautiful hatted fine dining French restaurant in Terrigal with an amazing range of both international and local liqour options that pair beautifully with your dinner. Dinner is served in either 2 or 3 course meals with a range of sides. Perfect spot for a fancy dinner or date night!
This is an amazing French restaurant! Such a lovely atmosphere, great staff and more importantly delicious food. My favourites were the squid linguine entrée, the zucchini flowers with prawn and the pork belly. Everything was incredible.
We drove from hornsby, for a sunday lunch at this place. Will defenetly recomend it. Good presentation, and atmosphere, the 2 waiters/waitress were lovely. The food is awesome, only little dissapointment the salmon entree could have a little more work, maybe more marinade. The lamb was to die for, the cheese souflee was gorgeous. Duck is generous and tasty. Dessert were brillant. Couple, you will love a romantic diner, and family enjoy their lunch ! Brillant keep the hard work ! We will be back !
Visited this fantastic restaurant on 8/7/2022 for dinner with my son. Being my second visit here I had a pretty good idea of what was on offer. The ambiance was oozing with an unmistakable Parisian vibe complete with music and the waiters accent. I ordered my usual French Martini and and as entrees we decided to go with the warm freshly baked baguettes with espellette butter and the special of the day fresh oysters. Since we were both quite hungry we also ordered snails in home made vol au cont cases in garlic butter and traditional duck liver pate with house pickles. As mains we went with 12 hr cooked Wagyu beef cheeks in red wine, lardons, baby carrots, potato purée and button mushrooms in jus de cuisson for my son and the special of the day pork chops with cauliflower purée with black truffles for me. All dishes were without fault and tasted exceptionally good. Definitely worth a visit for anyone craving authentic French food.
A lovely looking restaurant with great Ocean views. They offer 2 courses for $72 and 3 courses for $82….. I had the escargot which …had 4 snails in choux pastry with mushrooms. I am afraid I did not enjoy the mix at all, but the pastry was good. I then had the Steak, which had a surcharge of $25.. The steak was very average and nothing to rave about especially for the price..I was disappointed …as most of the reviews were good.
Omg this restaurant visit was a true experience....Great location, absolutely amazing delicious food the best service. A rare find in todays world.
