Brought here to this saturday market by friends who preorder their veggies from the farmers market. Good option to reduce your use of single use plastic bags.nBought coffee decaff available, nice flavour and milk silkiness and bread spelt fruit loaf and snails: Well above average flavours and texture, highly recommendednAlso other options for breakfast available: crepes & japanese that I can remember.nButcher and sausages available, our friends got a bunch of chicken ones.nnSome other Reviews talk about distilleries and wineries. Unfortunately not the case during our visit. We were told there's Web info on who's coming or not on a particular Saturday, so better check it before you plan your visit.nnThere's a nice trailer selling soaps, shampoos, sanitisers and other household cleaning liquids in bulk. We liked the idea to reduce use of plastics and will consider buying next time.nnLive music gives a festive atmosphere to this event.nnI'm not a dog lover, and do not feel comfortable around dog owners that can't control their pets or don't mind when pets lick and touch goods for sale. Would have tried some of the cookies on sale, but I guess you get my point...
Very friendly, well organised market to attend. Huge range of things to see and purchase. Great for kids and pets, lots of dogs and big area for kids to play and sit down and have brunch.
Fresh fruit and vegetables. Dog friendly market. We love a good brunch here too super tasty crepes from miammiam a bit of france, good quality fish from redgrillfish, definitely prepare some cash and pick up some super fresh vegetables from bite me organic!
Market was fantastic HOWEVER the $200 parking fine I received from the COV was a bit disappointing. Never going to this market again! Surely, if the local council want people to buy locally to support local produce they would make sure there's enough parking or have free parking whilst the market is on!?!?nThis is a pure revenue making exercise and very sad. I have to pay it......but I will not be going again.
Pricy fruits and veggies. Dog Swamp and Flinders Square Shopping Centre offer fresh products for at least half the price.nEaster egg hunt was fun for the youngest though.
