Very nice Japanese food! Amazingly helpful staff and genuinely priced restaurant in the heart of Sydney. Loved the visit. Nice night view of the rainy street from where I sat.

I ordered takeaway for pickup and paid $16 for unagi rice. They literally gave me two of the thinnest slice of eel on top of rice. It was the saddest sight. Absolutely disappointed- I will never visit or order from this place ever again.

I had Chirashi and everything in the bowl were fresh + delicious. It’s definitely better than the Japanese chain restaurants in the city! I’d be happy to try other dishes on the menu. I give this place 4 bears

Amazing food and excellent service. This is my favourite place to eat in Sydney and a beautiful reminder of Japan. All my favourite dishes and a well appointed dining area, definitely put Kura on your "must do" list!

authentic japanese experience. everything made in house. great tasting comfort food, hearty and well seasoned. highly recommend!

Perhaps, treat your customers well at the peak Times? Really rude and confused wait staff. The food is great but don't visit Kura Kura during Peak times unless you have reserved a seat already!!

Stars for the atmosphere and the location IMO, food is average, not the best I've found The price is acceptable

Food and service are just ok, nothing special though.

Great portion sizes at a reasonable price for the kaarage curry, especially considering it's the city.
