A lovely country restaurant on a property outside of Katherine. It was recommended by our accommodation and I’m glad we came as it was delicious. The barramundi was seasoned and cooked well and the buffalo steak was also cooked perfectly. The mains did take a bit of time to come out but I didn’t mind too much as we were enjoying the serenity of the lily pond that the restaurant is next to. I loved the sticky date pudding, I wasn’t so wrapped with the crème brûlée. The mango daiquiri was amazing.
This is one of those places you come across from time to time and wonder why you didn't know about it. Truly an amazing experience for food lovers. Fresh and inspiring. The staff are simply brilliant and make you feel like one of the family. One feels like being invited to spend a couple of hours with friends at their home. Simply stunning. Well done Team.
This is a must visit in Katherine. Great location and great food for reasonable price. Could be better with 3 elements protein, vegs and carbo rather than just 2, but otherwise it's an amazing place. There is a small area where they sell glass jewellery and soap. Very well presented.
I had the crocodile dumplings entree and the snapper with leek and pine nut stuffing for the main course. Both were delicious, great choices for those wanting to savor authentic Northern Territory flavours! The service was friendly and the location provides stunning views of the sunset over a large lotus pond. I really enjoyed my evening with friends and can't wait to go back again!
I and my husband dined at Kumbidgee for the first time during the Father’s day last year and it was an awesome experience. The next time was a dining with friends and it was still an excellent experience. The food was well cooked and no long waits. I love the venue as the pond is perfect for the place. It’s good to have some place like this in Katherine.
Very friendly and personable service, attentive and quick. The cocktails were very reasonably priced. Drinks were very cold, sparkling water served in an ice bucket nice attention to detail. We had the lamb, which was excellent, and the slow roasted mushrooms, which also didn't disappoint. A well rounded and enjoyable evening in a lovely setting.
OMG, this place is amazing. Ive never been taken to outta space with so much flavours. This place is Katherine's best kept secret. The service is amazing, so helpful, so nice, and mature. not like the other place i visited last night ....court restaurant The atmosphere wow, a unreal place to hold weddings with ferry lights every where, ish load of dragon fly's zooming past you, sun set that u only see in books, and the lilly pilly pond filled with pink and purple flowers WOW. Try the croc dumplings, the pumpkin with lemon grass, and top it of with the wattle seed desert....and the chef, well can i tell you that he is the nicest guy you could come across...we had the best longest yarn with him....i tell you now, if you dont come here while you visit this beautiful country then you are doing the biggest unjust to your self...press like if you agree to this review.... thank u guys for topping of a awesome week, much love to your amazing 10 out of 10 restaurant
A local recommended this restaurant. It's out of town, on the way to Nitmiluk. Make sure you book, especially if you want to sit outside. If you're lucky enough to watch nature put on a light show, you won't regret it. The staff are friendly and attentive. I had the lamb rump. It was a bit over cooked as I like my lamb more on the pink side. The dessert, coconut and lime panna cotta was a great way to finish the night.
Ok so what an amazing hidden gem. Amazing service from the wonderful owner managers and food to match. Delicious meals with native hints
Lovely gem in the outback. Great food friendly staff and atmosphere is stunning. Must go for sunset.
