Great little cafe on the banks of the Katherine river just 200 meters from the Katherine Hot Springs. Real breath of fresh air for bfast and lunch in Katherine, the Pop Rocket Cafe has a great menu. We had the smoked salmon sushi bowl and the smoked eggplant sushi bowl, $15 each, both sushi bowls were beautiful and fresh, add ice coffee and a flat white coffee and It really hit the spot. Owner Mick looks like he puts in the care needed along with a staff that are busy but attentive and ready with a smile. Check out the hot springs while you are there. Stacks of parking for cars with caravans and clean toilets on site. Only about a kilometre from the centre of town.

Lovely popup Cafe! Good coffee and great breakfast menu. Menu caters for both eat in or takaway. Lovely surroundings and staff very friendly and efficient.

The tour operators from Katherine Gorge told us to come here for food. Far out we weren't expecting this! It was delicious, so well priced and the staff was lovely. Such a welcome change from the pub grub weve been living on for this trip. Right next to the highly underrated Katherine Hot Springs which had about 500 less people than other swimming holes we visited. Would recommend anyone going through Katherine stop by here. There's tables, shade and toilets too.
Nice coffee, nice atmosphere. Just a few tweaks are needed with orders.
