Story

Located opposite Hyde Park, the Korean Cultural Centre (KCC) in Sydney has been established in April 2011 to mark the Australia-Korea Year of Friendship. The KCC will act as a cultural ambassador and gateway to all things Korean and we invite you to be a part of it.

Regular Events:
Cinema on the Park: Korean film night held Thursdays 6:30pm, Free entry for all
pARTy on the Park: Exciting art after hours event with special cultural performances and gallery tours. Wednesdays Fortnightly at 7:00pm, Free for KCC members, $5 for non-members

The KCC is the heart of Korea in Sydney. Come and visit our art exhibitions, which includes both a Multimedia area and a Traditional Crafts area. A wealth of Korean artistic talent is on display, including over 50 traditional pieces and interactive digital artworks, the galleries provide both an educational and fun experience for all.

Our Library features a comprehensive collection of Books, DVDs and CDs for everyone to catch up on, or just relax in our comfy chairs. A serine location to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, the KCO building itself has been designed by expert Korean interior designers and is a must visit.

A friend of mine who's learning Korean, invited me to the wine appreciation / introduction course with matching food normally the other way round, it totally blown me away with the fun but interesting information they provided, the little diy kit to take home, as well as the nicely organised catering! The best place to learn Korean language and experience Korean culture.
Attended the KAAF Art Prize opening night at the Cultural Centre and was impressed with the Art works on display and how they conducted the event - there was also displays of Korean crafts & culture - very interesting.
Lots of craft in exhibition. I was happy to stop there
