BEST GLUTEN FREE CHICKEN & CHIPS! So hard finding a great GF place for my children and I but Konini does the best GF chicken and chips, that it's become regular weekend treat. Everything is cooked in small batches so it's always really fresh, you can choose your own flavoured salts not sure about the others, but the chicken salt is also GF and nothing is ever too much trouble. Just beware though - you wait a little while longer for the GF chicken & chips as it's crumbed fresh and then cooked in a separate fryer, but you can phone ahead and place an order.
The chicken and chips and potatoe and gravy is worth the travel and delivery. I'd rather have this than kfc. So yummy, fresh even when delivered to the hutt. Best chicken chips I've had in a long time. Hands down
We heard from hubby's mates about this place and how they have the best chicken & chips. Better than kfc & Joe's Cook. So tonight we tried it for the first time. We brought the Monster Munch it had 8 thigh pieces and 8 drums sticks with jumbo box of chips and 2 large potatoes and gravy. Well I have to say the rumors were definitely true. The chicken were freshly cooked to perfection and juicy. The potatoes and gravy were a hit with my kids and the chip's were fresh and crispy especially when you dunk it in the the potatoes and gravy. They also had these different salts there for you to pick from to use on your chips. Would definitely be going back that's for sure.
Konini Superette, What a little gem of a store, from all the things you would expects from a dairy, and then you have the chicken my friends and family come here all the time mostly for the gluten free, but who can resist a couple of sneaky tenders for the way home.
Best chicken and chips I ever had Yesterday I bought Mega much which comes 5 thighs and 5 drumsticks. Chicken was perfectly cooked and fresh. Potato gravy and coleslaw is yummy as well. I was struggling to closing my chicken and chips boxes so their staff helped me out. All the staff are very friendly and helping in nature. Keep cooking like this guys. See you on Saturday, I'm coming down there with big order so get ready
The best hot chips and chicken on the planet. Annoyed I didn't discover it before I moved out of Wainui... Glad that it's still not that far away AND is on door dash.
Tried the chicken and chips. Service was good and quick even though we had a big order. Chicken was cooked well, tender and not overdone. Chips were yummy and we get to season ourselves, from a collection of yummy salts. Prices were great in comparison with other local fried chicken places.
Please go and try there chicken and chips so yummy and fresh.
Best chicken I have tasted in a very long time beautiful chicken tenders and Wings just the whole lot WOW and also to the beautiful staff there that make you feel so welcome go and have yourself a much you will enjoy it much better than KFC chicken as it's not greasy as what are you waiting for get yourself Feed well done to the staff of the Konini Superette Go now
I like that it is right next to the intermediate so if you have kids their you can get a quick snack but yeah if your looking to get some supplies go to countdown or you will regret it because you will run out of money fast to say the least its one of the more expensive diarys
