I had such a lovely experience at Kmart Bondi Westfield thanks to a staff member named Jessica. She went out of her way on Sunday 21st Dec around 7pm to help me find and purchase Christmas cards and was so friendly, patient, and genuinely kind the whole time. Customer service like hers really makes a difference - she’s honestly the reason I’ll be returning to this store. Jessica absolutely deserves recognition for how welcoming and helpful she was. Thank you for making my visit such a positive one.
I like to buy at Kmart both in Westfield and Eastgate. Especially their art pens and paints. I understand they may have many goods stolen from their shops. However, perhaps they should invest in better monitoring system or have more discreet officials checking what people damage and steal within the shops. To have ladies that go all over all your bags and request receipts and have to re-scan receipts and check dates to make sure the receipt is from that day, makes the experience very uncomfortable and it's not good marketing.
You have basically 1 job, manage stock.nYet you can’t update a website / manage it properly?nnStaff member told me even though it says in stock I have to call up each day to check when it’s back?nnMay as well send a carrier pigeonnWhy even have a stock level online?
Well organised and neat Kmart compared to others. The checkout is at the centre of the shop, just something to be aware of. Great place for affordable appliances and homewares that work but aren't flashy. Kids toys, apparel for all ages and shapes and pet products are also well ranged and affordable. Do NOT get their handheld fans. I cannot stress this enough. It was a good product, however, when it came to charging it, the inside of the fan where the battery is -lit up and smoke started coming out and filled my room with the smell of burning plastic. 0/10
