Although the customer service was friendly, welcoming and helpful, the overall experience was not enjoyable, if anything, it was extremely unpleasant! The facility was covered in unexplainable quantities of dust. Additionally, prices were not updated leaving me spending more money than anticipated on specific supplies. Shop at the Westfield Kmart, and not Eastgate.
Great store albeit with no mobile reception and disappointingly they only open at 8am which makes pre-school or work collections and runs impossible now. Was always reliable before the change to opening times.nnMade a click and collect order at lunchtime. Came in at 8am the next day and not only was the customer service desk not manned and took several bell presses to raise, my order wasn’t ready. So I walked 15m to the shelf, grabbed the item myself and cancelled the click and collect.nnJust do better. There are lots of ‘ghost’ staff walking around doing absolutely nothing productive and that lands at the feet of management.
Go to store for cheap household items. Sometimes surprisingly good in value for money.nWe bought our Christmas decorations here and got everything sorted for less than $100.-nChristmas tree and decorations.nOh yes they also sell $99.- surfboards for some reason??

Kmart overall is a great place for variety shopping but the layout in this store is not easy to navigate as it needs better signage. However I managed to purchase these jump ball hoppers for my kids and they have been a great purchase during the rainy days.
